Facts and Philosophy:

From its inception, Garland Christian Academy has been driven by the following primary goals:

1) to present the gospel of Jesus Christ so every student will come to a saving knowledge of Christ
2) to teach the Word of God and to integrate its truth into all phases of the instructional program
3) to develop Christian character through instruction, counsel, and example
4) to instruct the students in an excellent scholastic program
5) to equip the students to enter post-secondary level training
6) to prepare the students to enter society as patriotic, spiritual, and useful citizens.

We believe…

We believe in the divine inspiration and authority of the scriptures.

We believe in the triune God.

We believe in the fallen nature of man and his just condemnation.

We believe in salvation by grace through faith—the free gift of God.

We believe in the necessity of repentance and faith wrought by the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the glorious display of God’s purpose and grace.

We believe in the progressive work of sanctification.

We believe in the keeping power of God.

We believe in the prominence of the local and visible church.

We believe in baptism by immersion and the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper.

We believe in the devout observance of the first day of the week.

We believe in the honoring of civil government.

We believe in the resurrection of the righteous to life and the wicked to damnation.

We believe in the personal imminent return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

GCA places great emphasis upon the development and nurturance of a healthy spiritual life. We believe and teach that all Christians should manifest their loyalty and love to the Lord Jesus Christ by living in obedience to His commandments. Because Philippians 4:8 teaches us that we should think on those things that are pleasing to God, GCA stands against all aspects of culture that promote immorality.
