The high school at Garland Christian Academy endeavors to prepare students for college and adulthood. As students move toward independence of thought and action, they need a firm framework in which to exercise their newfound freedom as they journey toward intellectual, emotional, and spiritual maturity. Within that biblically delineated framework, we offer students the opportunity to discover the insights and truths of the foremost works of our tradition as they delve into the higher levels of the principal disciplines. Our hope is that, through discovery and examination, our students will arrive at a thorough, mature understanding of themselves and God’s creation, word, and will. To conduct them along the path to such understanding, our upper school faculty provides specialized, expert instruction in English, mathematics, science, social studies, Bible, speech, foreign languages, physical education, health, technology, and the arts.
