1) Parent Manual
Before applying for admission, read the Parent Manual carefully to determine whether Garland Christian Academy offers the type of education you want for your child or children.
2) Application
Complete the application for the enrollment of each child, sign the Statement of Cooperation and Code of Conduct on the back and return it to the school office. Each application must be accompanied by the nonrefundable application fee and all materials specified according to each division.
3) Interview
A confidential interview will be scheduled to discuss enrollment. This interview is, if possible, held with both parents and students.
4) Pastoral Reference
The pastoral reference form must be completed by the family’s pastor.
5) Testing
All applicants for grades one through twelve will be given a general learning ability test. The test is approximately one hour in length. A satisfactory minimum score is required. The Admissions Committee reserves the right to deny admission to any applicant with or without cause.
6) Final Acceptance
Families will be notified concerning acceptance of their child or children after the test is completed and the application materials are reviewed by the Admissions Committee. All students accepted are on academic and disciplinary probation for one year.
