GCA Alumni Board:

President – Jeff Weaver
- Graduate of GCA in 1979. Completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering in 1984 from UTA. Currently employed at Raytheon. Married in 1987 to Tranessa Stanbery (1985 GCA graduate). Jeff has 3 children and lives in Garland.
Vice President – Lorri Herring
- Lorri graduated from GCA in 1980, then from Bob Jones University in 1984. She came back and taught junior and senior English at GCA for two years, then went to Faith Baptist Schools in Michigan for 4 years. During that time, God called her to the mission field, and she was in Benin, West Africa from 1991 - 2007. She recently finished a master's degree in education at Dallas Baptist. Lorri is working security at Fujitsu while waiting for a teaching post in French. She lives with her grandmother and has two dachshunds.
Events Director – Kyle Johnson
- Kyle graduated from GCA in 1998. He completed a double-major in Management and Marketing from PCC in 2002. He met his wife Sarah at college and they married in 2003. Kyle works for The Nielsen Company and lives in Wylie.
Treasurer – Don Workman
- Don graduated from GCA in 1983. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in e-Business from University of Phoenix in 2006. He also completed graduate work in International Management from Liberty University in 2008. Don has been married to his wife Donna for 22 years and they have 2 children. The oldest is a 2008 graduate of GCA.
Business Outreach – Bill Oats
- Bill graduated from Garland Christian in 1980. He attended Liberty University. He is now part owner of Willard Heating and Air, specializing in residential application and design. Bill currently resides in Forney, Texas, and calls Lavon Drive Baptist Church home.
Secretary – Katrina Johnson Anderson
- Katrina is a 2005 graduate of GCA. She attended Richland College and is currently employed at Children's Medical Center as a pediatric phlebotomist. Katrina is very active in the music ministry of Lavon Drive Baptist Church. She currently lives in Wylie with her husband Rick.
