Elementary School Choir introduces students to organized choral music and teaches them basic singing technique, memorization, rhythm, pitch, intonation, and harmony. Students are expected to memorize and perform individual pieces as well as large-scale programs of minimal complexity and difficulty. Performance opportunities include: the Fall Concert, Christmas Concert, ACSI Choral Festival, TAPPS District and State Contest, Sandy Lake Festival, TPSMEA Concert, Dinner Show, and Spring Concert.
Middle School Choir teaches students how to sing with proper technique, diction, musicality, and harmony. Students are expected to memorize and perform individual pieces as well as large-scale programs of intermediate complexity and difficulty. Performance opportunities include: the Fall Concert, Christmas Concert, ACSI Choral Festival, TAPPS District and State Contest, Sandy Lake Festival, TPSMEA Concert, Dinner Show, and Spring Concert.
